Life Science Teaching Position at Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School

Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School is currently seeking to hire a full-time Life Science teacher to begin August 2, 2010. The Life Science teacher will teach five Science classes, including Biology, Honors Biology, Anatomy, AP Environmental Science and Microbiology. Additionally, the teacher will have other supervisory duties assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor of Art in Biology or related life science and a current California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science. High school teaching experience is required and a MA in a life science is preferred. Candidates must be willing to teach according to Roman Catholic Church doctrine. Salary is commensurate with experience and professional training according to school’s established salary schedule for teachers.
