Special Offer for Preservice Teachers from Texas Instruments
Texas Instruments is unveiling a special offer for preservice mathematics teachers planning to teach mathematics in grades 8-12. Preservice mathematics teachers who are graduating in Spring 2010 or plan to graduate by Summer 2011 can attend a TI-Nspire 3-day summer workshop during Summer 2010 for only $25 and receive a TI-Nspire handheld with Touchpad and TI-Nspire Teacher Software.

Preservice teachers who want to take advantage of this offer must meet the following criteria:
- Plan to teach mathematics in grades 8-12
- Be a mathematics or mathematics education major at a college/university
- Graduate no later than Summer 2011. Spring 2010 grads will be accepted as well.
- Pass their math teacher certification exam in Spring 2010 or no later than Summer 2011
- Be an alternative certified teacher pursuing a master’s degree in mathematics/mathematics education.
