Arts and Sciences with the collaboration of the USF School of
Education in two papers published last summer:
http://www.cs.usfca.edu/~wells/USFFP/

The goal of this Workshop:

Unite our Teachers Advisory Group (middle school math teachers in public, private, and parochial schools) and other instructors together with a small number of teachers who are interested in implementing the FP methodology, materials, and activities in their classrooms. Ideally, a student field trip to the de Young Museum can be part of this, but the field trip is not required.

When and Where:

The workshop will take place at the de Young Museum during the week
of June 14. The schedule is still flexible, but we foresee three to four
days at the Museum, with classwork in the morning and touring the
collections in the afternoon.

Cost:

USF FP will offer an honorarium of at least $500 to each participating trainee, half to be paid at the close of the workshop and the other half after a successful visit to a classroom to see an implementation there. Certificates of participation in all phases will also be provided.
